Martha Stewart, Architecture-Inspired Wedding Cake
“In this cake, the cantilevered tiers are a tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright. Styrofoam separators supporting the tiers are hidden behind undulating walls of fondant inspired by the work of the contemporary architect Frank Gehry.”

Mika Vainio - Rasputin 3000 (comfortzone)
Mika Vainio’s second single for Viennese imprint comfortzone continues in the doomtronica fashion that defined his 2011 album, ‘Life (…it Eats You Up)’: Distorted, grumbling synth assaults over lo-fi drum computer patterns. Intense!
EP and single tracks now available for download (MP3 / 320 kb/s)
Waking up hardcore.

Nietzsche Typescript, written on his writing ball: A Poem. Copyright: The Goethe and Schiller Archive, Weimar, Germany
The poem in English translation:link
“THE WRITING BALL IS A THING LIKE ME: MADE OF IRON
YET EASILY TWISTED ON JOURNEYS.
PATIENCE AND TACT ARE REQUIRED IN ABUNDANCE
AS WELL AS FINE FINGERS TO USE US.”
(Friedrich Nietzsche, on February 16th 1882)
Amazing.

Japanese Artist - Ryoji Ikeda
Visual Art Through Large Data.
Using the entire data set of a Honda Civic, Ikeda created an audiovisual composition on a three-screen projection where the car is broken down and transformed into a series of data visualizations and sound pieces—generative blueprints—where numbers and images cascade across the screens. “It’s like a human, the many organs in it, and that inspired me,” says Ikeda in the video when talking about the car.
