Skibinskipedia™ is the online wunderkammer of B Dean Skibinski, a graphic designer and writer based in New York City. Launched in 2010, it has since been a repository of inspirations and links related to design, architecture, art, film, literature, music, photography, and, of course, New York City. Kemistry Gallery is fast becoming London’s best place to see classic graphic design work, and their new show looks set to cement that reputation. Opening on 25 August, Mind Over Matter celebrates the work of Alan Fletcher, and specifically the 10th anniversary of the publication of The Art of Looking Sideways, his seminal book on graphic design. The show runs until 1 October. From We Made This, via The Casual Optimist, and UUUUUGH! So much love for this man, his work, and this book. I would give anything to see this show.
