I still haven’t seen the Americanized Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but I am fond of the way Rooney Mara portrays her physically.
She makes a perfect Princess of Swords or Page of Swords for the Reblog Tarot—-she seems insignificant, but she wields tremendous power. And her journey as a character is to come into a fuller possession of that power. Her ability to spy on people, to get into their computer networks and their hard drives, this is Princess/Page of Swords stuff, the spy, who slips in unnoticed and returns with what she needs, ready to turn things over.
Usually you draw this card when you have something you need to know more about, and the way to do it is to blend in to the background. To become a part of the system so you can then overthrow it or undo it or somehow emerge with what you need to know. It implies a period of patient work and sometimes being overlooked for the time being, but also, being sustained by a long game, or a purpose larger than yourself.
